THE CREATION OF HUMAN BEINGS.
This is a true story of how human beings began. Tell it to your child. Let him know that we are not machines but persons created by our heavenly Father to know and love him.

A vision of Paradise
The story of God's creation is a breathtaking account of how and why God created the universe and life. It isn't, of course, a description of God's physics, geometry, chemistry or biology. Who would understand it if God revealed his science to us? The story of God'screation in Genesis Chapter One is to break the news to all, parents and children, that we have a Creator who loves us and who has not made the universe to dwarf our importance to him but to show that everything was made for us. We are his sons and daughters, his children whom he loves dearly and who wants no one to feel they are alone. The simplicity of the Genesis account is God's way of revealing the truth, even to children, for being our Father, this is what he wanted to do. Let your child know the truth of what God says
for God would never tell a lie.

On the sixth day of creation God made human beings. (Genesis 1:26) That was a busy day for on the sixth day God also made all kinds of animals. It seems to be a day when God accelerated his work because he filled the earth with millions of animals, too.

GOD’S WORK
Had we been there to see God at work we would have been so excited and glad to see His handiwork. Each day of God’s work is numbered,  beginning with the first day, followed by the second, then the third, then the fourth, then the fifth and now the sixth. We have now arrived at the sixth day of God’s creation and he is about to make humankind. Each day is a step in building a universe and a planet called earth for human being to live on.

WHY DID GOD DO ALL THIS WORK
The sixth day is a very special day and the most important of all the others because making human beings like you and me was why he began to create the earth and the stars in the first place. It was why he made flowers and trees, mountains and fields, animals and birds. God wanted them to look good and be good, to provide food, light and heat, and to be company and helpers for man to do his work. But importantly he wanted sons and daughters of his own to love and care for.

SONS AND DAUGHTERS
Yes, God wanted sons and daughters to love and care for. He made them to be like himself having a spirit and mind to know and love one another and to know who their Maker and Father is. What father would not want to know and love his own son or daughter? What mother would not cry if her son and daughter did not know her? God made us in his own image, to be like himself, so he is our real Father. Yes we have human fathers and mothers but God made us before we were even born in our mothers womb.
Listen to what the bible says about how you were made in your mothers womb:
‘For it was you who formed my inward parts:
You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made...
You knew that I was there, - you saw me before I was born. The days of my life are all recorded in your book before any of them ever began.’ (Psalm 39: 13-14)

Isn’t that amazing! God knew us before we knew ourselves, and he made us in our mother’s womb. Our first parents were made by God. He was their Father but so are we.

DID HE MAKE US TO HAVE SHORT LIVES?
No! God made human beings, animals, fish and birds and the earth and all its mountains and seas, rivers and fields, the stars, day and night, and everything visible and invisible to live forever.
He made everything to live for ever. He made everything immortal.

WHAT DID GOD WANT US TO DO?
He wanted us to care for our home, the earth, and to rule over all the animals and birds and fish and everything else. He made human being to be rulers, kings of his creation.
He wanted us to have family homes too where boys and girls might grow up with their parents, for parents have the responsibility to guide, teach and train their children to be good and to learn as much about God as they can. God wants children to learn as much as they can about the earth so that they might care for it properly and replace or replenish what is used for making things.
All this is stated in Genesis chanter one, on day six.

PROVIDENCE
This is a word that means what God provides for our health, life and happiness. God gave the fruit of trees, herbs and plants to be food for us to eat. This was also the food for animals. No animal killed another and no human being killed an animal for food. That is the kind of world God made. The word used to describe it, is Paradise.

THE EVIDENCE OF SCRIPTURE
‘And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat’ (Genesis 1:28-29)
